Changes Taking Place, New Varieties Coming

We have taken out many of our older trees and either replaced them with new varieties or planted the same varieties.  We no longer have the Earliglo, which is our earliest variety to ripen, but we've replaced it with Paul Friday's PF1 Flamin' Fury®.  This will become our earliest variety to come into production each year.  We have also planted many more of Paul's Flamin Fury® varieties including PF Lucky 13, PF 24B, PF 27A, and PF 24C which is a cold hardy variety.  Those of you who have had the Flamin Fury® varieties know that they're some of the best tasting peaches on the market to date.

We have also taken out our Redgold nectarines but we've replaced them with the same variety.

A favorite among many, our Loring trees have been declining over the past couple of years though we still have many remaining.  These trees are twenty years old and have been a great producer for us.  We planted 870 new Loring trees last year and 2012 looks like the first year of production for our new trees.

We have taken out our Normans and most of our Rangers.  These will not be replaced with the same varieties as we've planted Loring and Sentry in their place.

Over the next few years we will complete a restoration project that we started a couple of years ago.  This includes removing ALL older trees on the orchard and planting new ones in their place giving us more production for you.  Please be patient with us as we make changes and improvements that will benefit all of us for many years to come.
